My 1 Year Update - I've Been Disfellowshipped One Year Today

it was a year ago today that i was announced from the platform by brother paul "twofaced" castley that i was "no longer one of jehovah's witnesses".
i didn't go to that meeting to hear the announcement because i already didn't believe the watchtower religion.. how was my first year?

how many of you remember the one about the teenager who skipped the meeting and decided to get into a car with his worldly friends and they worldly guys decided to rob a store and the jw didn't know they were going to do so but he was arrested simply for being with them?.

i was amazed just how much my late dad used to relate demunze type stories he had heard off someone who knew someone who......
my dad was a very highly skilled electrical engineer in his working days---became a dub some 60 years befor .he died last year. why he gave those nonsense stories brain-time was totally beyond me.

@ hi bunny...no..I was referring to my first wife..a born in harridan control freak with a nasty personality. Tried to run me through with a 10 inch kitchen knife..but that was a lifetime ago.

by vienne inj. felix was a long-term circuit overseer in the uk and the author of the 1973 yearbook history of the work in the uk.
can you add to this brief biography?.

Graham Carmichael was a CO in Birmingham in the early / mid 60's. a real character. his wife was called Honor--if i remember. they dined at my parents most visits--and he certainly liked a drink.. i'm 69 now--so i would imagine he would be into 3 figures by now if hes still alive.
i think Ken Richmond came along after.
